Emilio Lopez is a third generation coffee farmer who also operates a wet & dry mill in the Santa Ana region of El Salvador. He has been a friend of Ozo for many years and sits on the Roaster’s Guild Executive Council with our head roaster. Along with growing his own coffee, he regularly processes coffee at his mill grown by his neighbors.
This year, Finca Santa Margarita, Emilio’s cousin’s farm, yielded great coffee. A soft strawberry-like acidity accompanies flavors of milk chocolate, graham cracker, and a creamy body.
