Since 2013, OZO Coffee has proudly been purchasing coffee from renowned El Salvadorian producer Emilio Lopez. Lopez is an innovative, multigenerational coffee producer and first-generation entrepreneur who co-created a coffee operations company named Odyssey that oversees farming, milling, and exporting in El Salvador. This company is vertically integrated making operations streamlined and sustainable; this creates a win-win situation for all parties involved.  Every year, OZO has the privilege of receiving all of Emilio Lopez’s dry processed Orange Bourbon from Finca El Manzano, making it an OZO exclusive. You can only get this coffee at OZO!

As previously mentioned, this microlot comes from Emilio’s farm known as El Manzano, which is located on the western side of El Salvador nestled beside the Santa Ana volcano at 1550 meters above sea level. The rich volcanic soils of the area, combined with Lopez’s attention to detail in farming practices, lead to an incredibly dynamic and reliable cup year after year. With this dry processed coffee, look for notes of blackberry, purple plum, and dark sugars.
