We’re thrilled to announce that our incredible producer partner, Maria Romalda, has placed 6th in this year’s CODECH internal coffee competition! This prestigious competition, hosted by CODECH headquarters, offers over 450 cooperative members the opportunity to submit their finest coffee for evaluation by a panel of expert cuppers, including our very own Justin Hartman and Zoe Gigas. After three days of meticulous tasting and judging, the top 10 producers are awarded premiums, directly recognizing their dedication and craftsmanship. Maria's well-deserved recognition is a testament to her passion and hard work, and we’re honored to showcase her award-winning coffee exclusively at OZO for another year in a row. This exceptional coffee, available only to OZO customers, is a celebration of Maria's skill and the vibrant flavors of her farm. In the cup you'll taste the quintessential terroir of Huehuetenango with notes of ripe blackberry, creamy milk chocolate, and a heavy nougat body.
