From the Cerrado Mineiro region of Western Brazil comes our Brazil Cascavel Vermelha. This unique growing region is notably flat and low-elevation, with well-defined seasons that lend coffee from this area a distinct terroir, with caramel sweetness and nuttiness paired with a mild acidity. This naturally-processed coffee is picked with highly-sensitive mechanical harvesters, which are designed to only remove only the fully ripe cherries from the trees. After harvesting, the coffee is laid out on patios to dry in direct sunlight, while being closely monitored to ensure even drying occurs. This coffee is a dependable favorite in our lineup, with notes of milk chocolate, maple, and pecan.
