Our Burundi Kibingo is back for the season! This beautiful naturally processed coffee is a bright and fruit-forward red bourbon from the Kibingo Washing Station in Kayanza, Burundi. This washing station serves just over 1,700 members in this region, an area 50 miles south of Lake Kivu, where the coffee benefits from some of the most ideal growing conditions: high altitude, rich volcanic soils, and a temperate, humid climate. This allows for the coffee cherries to ripen slowly, resulting in a complex, sweet cup with delicate layers of flavor. We've been sourcing coffee from Kibingo for years, and are thrilled to bring back this stunning lot, with vibrant notes of cola, cacao nibs, and sparkling blackberry acidity.
