This is a washed process coffee from the Banko Gotiti Washing Station in the Gedeb District in Yirgacheffe. The washing station receives cherries from approximately 400-700 smallholder farmers living in the area. As is typical for coffees of this region, this year's lot is comprised of regional Heirloom varieties that offer a taste of the distinctive qualities of Yirgacheffe. This year's lot from Banko Gotiti is full of bright citrus notes in the cup, paired with earthy and floral notes of black tea and orange blossom.
