This is a washed Guatemalan microlot from the CODECH cooperative in the Sierra de los Cuchumatanes of Huehuetenango. This is our second year working with producer Agusto López, and we're excited to see his coffee back in the lineup! He grows Bourbon and Caturra varieties on his farm, La Esperanza 2, which sits up in the mountains at about 1,700 meters above sea level. This is a well-structured coffee with sweet black cherry up front and sweet and spicy ginger and panela finishing out a perfectly balanced cup.
